With the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Akris transports us to that fleeting, almost magical phase between day and night – the blue hour – a moment where light and darkness, sky and shadows merge into one.
Albert Kriemler describes the collection as a dialogue between day and night, between movement and stillness. Kriemler says he is interested in "the exchange of AM and PM codes" – those subtle transitions in which light, mood, and structure change.
The designs reflect this tension: flowing silhouettes, precisely cut trousers with movable panels, semi-pleated skirts and coats that embody both form and lightness. Every line seems dissolved in movement – an expression of change, not stagnation.
Colors play a central role for Albert Kriemler: from deep navy to radiant cyan, various shades of blue dominate – not as a mere nuance, but as depth and mood. "Blue, the last transparency before darkness, is not a color, but a depth. A storm in the silence. A gentleness to the eternally strict black."
